Galvanized Steel Coils Z270, JISG3302 SGCC

Galvanized steel coils are produced by coating steel strips with a protective zinc layer via hot-dip galvanization or electro-galvanization processes. This treatment enhances corrosion resistance, extending service life in harsh environments. The zinc layer (8–275g/m²) acts as a sacrificial barrier, protecting the base steel from rust and oxidation. Galvanized coils offer excellent formability, weldability, and cost-effectiveness, making them ideal for construction (roofing, gutters), automotive (body panels), appliances (refrigerators), and packaging. Common grades include DX51D+Z (for general use) and high-strength variants. Surface finishes range from spangled to matte, with post-treatment options like chromating or painting for added durability. Widely recycled and energy-efficient, they balance performance with environmental sustainability, supporting industries requiring long-lasting, weather-resistant materials.
